A beautifully preserved gentleman’s wristwatch by Garrard, the Crown Jewellers, dating to 1946. The large 9ct gold case, featuring an elegant rose‑gold bezel and matching lugs, carries full Edinburgh hallmarks for 1946, confirming its authenticity and period craftsmanship.
The dial is a particular highlight: an unusual embossed chapter ring frames the layout, complemented by rose‑gold Arabic numerals and matching hands. A subsidiary seconds dial sits neatly at 6 o’clock, adding both function and vintage charm.
