A stainless steel rectangular Omega wristwatch, dating to circa 1939, the case measuring 24 X 42 mm including lugs, with 20 mm lug spacing. The case is signed Omega, Acier Staybrite, Fab. Suisse, and is individually numbered.
It houses Omega’s calibre T17 manual‑wind movement, signed Omega, Swiss Made, fitted with 15 jewels and numbered. The T17—Omega’s celebrated early rectangular movement—was introduced in 1934 and became the firm’s most successful shaped calibre of the decade.
The champagne dial carries black Arabic numerals, an outer 24‑hour track , a subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock. The dial is signed Omega above the centre.
