Late 19th Century carved Walnut bracket clock by Lenzkirch.

Dimensions:

W: 29cm (11.4")H: 42cm (16.5")D: 18cm (7.1")

A carved walnut cased bracket clock by the well-known German maker Lenkirch.  The case is highly carved and of very high quality. The 8-day movement strikes the hours and half hours on a gong. The brass dial has a silvered chapter ring and regulating dial to the arch. The serial no on the movement dates the clock (1895-1900)

Circa 1880.

Lenzkirch

The Lenzkirch factory came into full production in 1860, and continued until 1932. Its products retain a worldwide reputation for excellence to this day.
