A rare English mantle/bracket clock for the Ministry of Health. The 8-day timepiece movement has a single fusee. The walnut case has line inlay on the front and a chafer top. The silvered dial was engraved for George V. The inside back door had three labels that said the clock was in room 101 of the Ministry of Health and dated 1926, 1937, and 1938.
